Vocational Coach

Position Overview Vocational Coach for the Community Services League (CSL) will assist clients with disabilities in pursuing employment opportunities through individualized coaching, resources, and connections. The Coach works as part of a multidisciplinary team, promotes CSL as a Community Rehab Provider, and may support related programs and events. Reports To Vice President, Employment Services Responsibilities Maintain and manage a caseload of clients, including conducting intakes, weekly job readiness meetings, and job development activities. Assist clients in removing barriers to employment, evaluating needs for assistive technology or accommodations, and conducting mock interviews. Create resumes, cover letters, and match client profiles to job descriptions; contact employers on behalf of clients. Complete assessments for vocational determinations and maintain accurate documentation, billing, and progress reports. Implement process improvements, participate in peer reviews, and align CSL services with CARF requirements. Build and maintain community relationships, use social media for program marketing, and attend CSL supported events. Support presentation of CSL as a CRP at VR and MRA meetings and other community functions. Perform additional duties that ensure positive outcomes for clients. Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Social Services, Rehabilitation) preferred, with at least two years of relevant experience. Proven work history with individuals with disabilities or in a vocational rehabilitation setting acceptable in lieu of a degree. Employment Classification Full‑time, Exempt Hours & Schedule Monday‑Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–12:00pm; schedule may vary per client or program needs. Salary & Benefits Salary range $45,205–$55,370, commensurate with experience. CSL offers health insurance and a retirement savings plan with company contributions (available after required tenure). Physical Demands & Work Environment Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; handle information with hands and use computer accounting systems. Occasional office mobility and lifting up to 5pounds. Preferred Qualifications Recent college graduate encouraged; degree in Human Resources, Social Services, or Mental Health beneficial. Proficient computer skills (Word, Internet) and familiarity with current job‑search processes. Advocacy experience and comfort supporting individuals with disabilities. Bilingual or ASL skills advantageous. Strong organizational skills and detail orientation. Effective problem‑solving and active team player who can work independently. Valid driver’s license, clean record, and willingness to use personal vehicle for client transport. Background check clearance and proof of automobile insurance.
