Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Mortgage Originator for a direct hire opportunity in Aliso Viejo, CA. This role is ideal for a proven private money and bridge lending professional with an active network of high-producing mortgage brokers, luxury real estate agents, high-net-worth borrowers, and professional referral sources.

This is a relationship-driven production role focused on high-value California real estate transactions, with typical loan amounts of approximately $1.5 million to $5 million secured by properties valued from $3 million to $20 million. This is not an entry-level or call-center position.

The right candidate will thrive in a professional, high-accountability environment that values sound judgment, urgency, discretion, and long-term relationship building. You will have the opportunity to leverage an existing referral network, work with quality private money loan opportunities, and represent a team that prioritizes responsive communication, credit discipline, and professional execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Activate and expand existing referral relationships to generate high-value private money and bridge loan opportunities.
- Evaluate collateral, borrower strength, leverage, liquidity, timing, and exit strategy to properly qualify and structure transactions.
- Lead loans through the process by setting expectations, managing commitments, and coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams.
- Maintain strong communication with referral partners and borrowers while providing candid solutions and protecting long-term relationships.
- Own pipeline activity, CRM updates, next steps, projected volume, conversion ratios, and production forecasts.
- Follow company policies and applicable private money lending requirements with accuracy and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Location: Aliso Viejo, CA.
- Work Arrangement: Full-time from the Aliso Viejo office, with field meetings with referral partners as needed.
