Job Title: Welder Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder experienced in MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and stainless steel within a construction environment. The role involves interpreting blueprints and weld symbols to execute precise welding tasks on a construction job site.

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and stainless steel in a construction setting.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate welding.
• Operate a MIG welding gun proficiently to weld sheet metal.
• Work efficiently with 18 gauge stainless steel.

• 5+ years of MIG welding experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• 6g welding certification is a plus.

The position requires working on-site from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Employees must have their own hand and power tools, as well as personal protective equipment including a welding hood. The work involves ground-up construction on a new hotel, requiring comfort with working in hot conditions. This project is expected to continue for another month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cocoa Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
