Your main responsibilities will revolve around assisting our dedicated providers and fellow nurses in patient care, managing administrative duties with a smile, and delivering top-notch customer service to our cherished patients. Come be a part of supporting this amazing team!In this role you will...Possess a deep dedication to patient well-being, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding assistance to our clinic team.Maintain and organize patient medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of all procedures, treatments, and medications.Perform prior authorizations and appealsTriage incoming phone calls and messagesPerform basic medical procedures such as collecting vital signs, conducting physical assessments, and obtaining patient medical histories.Facilitate patient lab work by preparing ordered labs and pathology samples to be sent outAddress patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.Assist nursing team with daily duties to include: laundry, sterilizing roomsLocation: On-site- Omaha, Nebraska Status: Full-time, Non-ExemptCurrent schedule: Monday-Thursday(*We may occasionally adjust employee work schedules or business hours to meet customer/patient needs, respond to emerging opportunities, or address unforeseen challenges)We are looking for someone with:Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other external parties in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.Previous experience in a dermatology clinic or similar healthcare setting is preferred.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Team focused mentality: jump in where you can to minimize wait times.LovelyGroup is pleased to offer these great perks:Quick access to exceptional health, dental and vision coverage.
