We are a privately owned community-oriented company. This location, operated by Convenience Stores Inc- a subsidiary of Jones Petroleum, is looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated individual looking to assist in our growing retail operation.

Stockers are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance. Stockers will stock shelves, build displays, bag groceries for customers, unload trucks, organize the back room and clean store areas as required. They must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers. Stockers will follow all safety rules and other tasks assigned.

Education:

High school or equivalent

Experience & skills:

• Previous grocery / produce market experience is preferred
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction
• Good communication skills and good personal grooming habits

Note: This company participates in the E-verify program. This position is subject to a 90-day introductory period. This introductory period is designed, primarily, to give both the company and the employee an opportunity to determine whether the employee will be able to adequately perform in the assigned job position. Availability:

• Early morning and/or evenings, weekends and the ability to work varied hours and days based on the needs of the business

Physical requirements:

• Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift and able to lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stoop, and climbing a ladder is required on occasion
• Requires you to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
