Licensed Smog Technician – $22–$24/hr + $500 Signing Bonus

JK Smog Check Testing Station in Reno is hiring a full-time Nevada Licensed Smog Technician.

We are a test-only smog station. This is a straightforward emissions testing position with no automotive repair work and no selling repairs.

PAY:

• $22.00/hour starting pay

• $24.00/hour after 60 days based on attendance, reliability, and job performance

• $500 SIGNING BONUS

- $250 paid after 30 days

- $250 paid after 60 days

SCHEDULE:

• Monday–Friday

• 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

• 1-hour lunch

• No weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Nevada emissions/smog inspections

• Follow Nevada DMV emissions testing procedures

• Accurately enter vehicle and inspection information

• Maintain required testing records

• Provide friendly, professional customer service

• Keep the testing area clean and organized

• Follow all state regulations and shop procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Nevada smog inspector license (1G and/or 2G as applicable)

• Dependable and punctual

• Able to perform inspections accurately and efficiently

• Good customer service skills

Previous smog testing experience is preferred, but our main priority is finding someone who is licensed, dependable, and ready to work.

Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour

Signing Bonus: $500 ($250 after 30 days and $250 after 60 days)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

No weekends
