Behavioral Health Professional

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. This position involves providing care and support to adult patients with behavioral health needs in an inpatient treatment facility.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct clinical interviews and assessments for patients in an involuntary or inpatient setting.
Ensure that medical evaluations and needs are appropriately transferred to corresponding medical facilities when necessary.
Assume charge duties as required, overseeing the care team and ensuring quality care delivery.
Implement de-escalation techniques when managing challenging behaviors in patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within an inpatient treatment environment.
Certification in de-escalation techniques (CPI or MOAB) is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
Proven experience in behavioral health care for adults (ages 18 and above).

Facility Information

This role will take place within an inpatient setting located in Seattle, WA, comprising two units with a total of 70 beds. The candidate may be required to float between units on the 2nd and 3rd floors. A professional appearance is expected; scrubs of any color are acceptable.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system utilized: EPIC.
Open to first-time travelers.
