Class A/B CDL DriverThe Class A/B CDL Driver is responsible for delivery of fertilizer, chemical and grain with a high value placed on service and retaining the customers.Responsibilities:Deliver fertilizer/chemical to customers and other branches during farming seasonGrain hauling when not in farming seasonMaintain timely, accurate records on sales, inventories, and logbooksAlways maintain safety standardsMaintain daily communications with dispatchOperate within the standards set by USDOT and FMCSRAll other general duties as neededSkills, Knowledge and Abilities:Agriculture and/or farming experienceKnowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsKnowledge of basic commercial truck maintenanceAbility to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individualsAbility to follow established processesBasic knowledge of computers and basic softwareAbility to manage time effectivelyEducation:High school degree or equivalentClass A CDL licensePhysical Requirements:Able to reach, pull and lift 50+ lbsAble to handle repetitive lift and pull motionAble to read documents with fine printAble to use a keyboardAble to hear effectively on the phonePass a pre-employment drug screenThis job description is not inclusive of all duties and responsibilities of this role.
