As a Senior Medical Scribe with OrthoArizona, you will get to: Work alongside physicians and mid-levels and transcribe all patient encounters accurately and record them correctly in the EMR Type detailed notes, including History of Present Illness (HPI), physical examinations, imaging dictations, assessments, and treatment plans. Perform data entry and input correct diagnosis codes as well as input office visit orders into the EMR per the direction of the Physician. Provide scribe coverage at other clinics within the region for callouts and other planned paid time off. Act as the primary trainer for all new hires, mentor and train all scribes on any process improvement measures, and updated company policy and procedures. Provide basic administrative duties for physicians and mid-levels. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Accurate typing skills, minimum 50 words per minute. Knowledge of medical terminology. Minimum Qualifications: Seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field.
