Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time role offers an opportunity to provide specialized patient care within the post-anesthesia recovery setting. The nurse will coordinate and implement patient care for individuals emerging from anesthesia, ensuring safety, comfort, and recovery progress, all while adhering to established standards of care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts with hours from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, totaling 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license; BLS certification via the American Heart Association; ACLS certification via the American Heart Association; PALS certification via the American Heart Association; at least 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: The role involves assisting with patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, providing patient education, and ensuring safe recovery from anesthesia. The team collaborates within surgical services units and maintains a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
