Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant at our Goodlettsville, TN location. The Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing blood collection, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, assisting with medical procedures, and providing support to patients during their visit. Day-to-day tasks will include taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and using appropriate medical terminology in documentation. The role requires collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care. Qualifications Proficient in Blood Collection and related Laboratory Skills Proficient in standardized Point of Care testing Knowledge of CLIA standards of record keeping & documentation Experience in Medical Assisting and Administering Vaccines Knowledge of Medical Terminology Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Relevant certifications or training in phlebotomy and medical assisting Previous pediatric experience is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical training or certification preferred Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Health Care Provider Industries Medical Practices #J-18808-Ljbffr Goodlettsville Pediatrics, PC
