Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Columbus, TX. This role involves working in a Level 4 trauma ER with 8 beds and 2 trauma bays, providing critical care to patients. The unit operates with typical staffing ratios of 2 RNs per shift, 1 LVN, and a Unit Secretary. The assignment offers a 13-week contract with a guarantee of 36 hours per week, including a weekend and holiday rotation.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the ER
• Assess and document patient vitals and medical histories
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
• Support patients and families during emergency treatment

Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Valid TX or Multistate Nursing License
• Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• At least 1 year of recent ER experience
• Familiarity with the Cerner charting system
