Contract (13 weeks, with possible extension) | Days, 5x8 Hours (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday) | On-call required (every 4th weekday, every 4th weekend, and some holidays) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties in Ambulatory OR and General OR settings
• Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties including General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, and Pediatric General Surgery
• Provide perioperative nursing care in PACU and Endoscopy as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation; must be within 30 minutes of facility while on call
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a Compact state (pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, PEG tube placement/exchange) and general surgical procedures (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernia repair, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy, and others)
• Experience with Gynecological, Orthopedic, and Ophthalmology procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS and NRP certifications (AHA-issued preferred)
• Experience with ENT procedures (Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy) and Bronchoscopy
• Prior travel nursing experience
