Our Iron Range-based Beverage (Beer & Soda) Distributor is seeking qualified applicants for Full-Time Position as a Warehouse Worker / Delivery Helper.

We are looking for someone with a customer-friendly attitude and an ability to perform physically demanding & detail-oriented work in a fast paced environment.

Warehouse duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manual loading/unloading of delivery trucks whilst working in the warehouse
• Preparing customer orders on pallets for loading onto delivery trucks
• Unloading incoming shipments
• Standard warehouse activities such as organizing, stacking, and moving product whilst in the warehouse
  

Delivery helper duties include, but are not limited to

• Unloading product from the delivery truck whilst at the customer location
• Delivery, rotation, and merchandising (stocking) of the product at the customer location

Minimum qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 170 lb kegs on a regular basis throughout the day. The job requires the employee to be physically capable of constantly loading and unloading beverage packages, containers, and kegs consistently throughout the entire day.
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Drug-free - candidate will need to pass a pre-employment drug test and undergo random screening

Preferred qualifications: Warehouse or delivery experience (specifically beverages). Previous forklift certification is a plus; the ability to skillfully operate/drive a forklift is helpful. Medical Card and/or a CDL Class B permit or license would also be a plus.

Skills desired:  positive attitude, strong work ethic, customer oriented, and effective communication skills. Displaying these skills while also efficiently and safely handling the physical portion of the job is extremely important.

Our business involves making beverage deliveries on weekly routes to Virginia, Eveleth, Gilbert, Biwabik, Aurora, Hoyt Lakes, Babbitt, Embarrass, Mt Iron, Buhl, Chisholm, Hibbing, Nashwauk, Keewatin, Grand Rapids, Deer River, Cass Lake, Britt, Cook, Orr, International Falls, Tower, and Ely.
