Key Responsibilities - Your Contributions

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-applying established protocols meticulously.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform both preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all lab procedures, train new staff or students, and contribute to upholding high-quality lab standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe laboratory space while adhering to all relevant regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree paired with certification preparation through ASCP/AMT.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain an updated certification throughout the duration of employment.
