Quality manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead site-level quality operations and ensure compliance, product integrity, and customer satisfaction at our Middletown, CT facility.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management System (QMS): Own and maintain the site QMS in alignment with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
• Audits & Compliance: Lead internal audits and host customer, supplier, and registrar audits. Ensure procedures, work instructions, and records are current, effective, and consistently applied.
• Manufacturing Quality & CAPA: Establish and enforce quality standards across manufacturing and inspection processes. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Partner with Operations to reduce scrap, rework, and escapes using data-driven methods. Champion risk-based thinking and preventive quality practices.
• Customer & Supplier Relations: Serve as the primary quality contact for customers on quality issues and audits. Partner with Supply Chain on supplier qualification, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and supplier CAPAs.
• Team Leadership & Culture: Lead, coach, and develop the site quality team. Build quality capability across the organization through training and standard work, fostering a culture where quality and safety are everyone's responsibility.
