The Restoration Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment, as well as an assigned service vehicle. We have a sincere drive toward the goal of helping make fire and water damage "Like it never even happened®!"Primary ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all timesPerform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearancePosition RequirementsValid California drivers license of at least 2 yearsAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawEffective oral communication with basic math and technology skillsExperience in cleaning/restoration preferred but not requiredIICRC certifications a plusAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objectsAbility to work with/around cleaning products/chemicalsWillingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessaryPay Rate Starts at $20-28/hour based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit.
