Red Door Learning Centers is a network of early childcare and educational locations that offers child care to children ages 6 weeks through 12 years, preschool for 3 to 5 year olds, and special needs educational offerings. Located throughout Long Island, New York, our centers provide a home‑like setting that fosters educational development, self‑esteem, and imagination in a safe and loving environment. Role Description: We are seeking a Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) to provide individualized instruction to preschool‑aged children with disabilities in homes, daycares, and schools. The SEIT will implement IEP goals, collaborate with families and educators, and support children’s academic, social, and behavioral growth in the least restrictive environment. ---> Newly certified special educators ("Birth-2nd" or "All Grades") strongly encouraged to apply Key Responsibilities: Provide one‑on‑one special education services in various learning settings. Develop and implement IEP goals using evidence‑based strategies. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and therapists to foster generalized learning. Monitor student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings. Ensure compliance with special education regulations and agency policies. Qualifications: **Bachelor's Degree (or Graduate level) in Special Education or related field. **NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth–Grade 2) or (All Grades). Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and early childhood development. Strong communication, organization, and adaptive teaching skills.
