Phlebotomist III- FloaterJob Location: Grand Blanc, MI- 48439 Duration: 2+ months of contract with possibilities of an extension or temp to hire Shift: Mon-Fri hours range from 6:00am-7:00pm, Saturdays (approx. every 2-3 weeks) 8:30a-12pm.Job DescriptionMin. 3 years of professional phlebotomist experience is required.Perform blood draws safely and accurately.Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.Verify patient information and ensure specimen labels are correct before sending to the lab.Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections when required.Follow HIPAA, safety, and quality standards at all times.Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and making patients feel comfortable.Help maintain smooth daily operations at assigned locations.What They're Looking ForConfident, independent phlebotomist who can work with minimal supervision.Excellent patient interaction and specimen collection skills.Committed to accuracy, patient safety, and quality standards.
