What You'll Do

• Manage and review a variety of accounting activities to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Complete recurring account reconciliations and research differences, unusual activity, and outstanding items.
• Analyze financial information and investigate issues to determine appropriate resolutions.
• Monitor automated financial processes and identify exceptions or data issues that require attention.
• Help maintain effective accounting procedures and controls designed to protect company assets and support accurate reporting.
• Review transactions for proper coding, documentation, and compliance with established policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities, including schedules and supporting documentation.
• Work with internal teams and outside partners to resolve accounting and system-related issues.
• Support financial audits by preparing reconciliations, schedules, confirmations, and other requested documentation.
• Participate in technology initiatives, system enhancements, and projects designed to improve the efficiency and scalability of the accounting function.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and make better use of automation.
• Take ownership of special projects and other accounting responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience working with an ERP or other modern accounting system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with finance and other departments.
