HR Specialist

Savvee Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist to support our federal client in a hybrid environment located in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting executive-level recruitment and staffing activities, with a strong focus on documentation, compliance, and stakeholder coordination. This individual should be skilled at managing executive applicant processes, maintaining accurate personnel records, and supporting workforce reporting and human resources initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Supporting SES and political appointee recruitment and staffing activities.
• Managing applicant records and staffing documentation.
• Coordinating executive staffing actions and recruitment processes.
• Maintaining recruitment files and records for accountability and compliance.
• Processing executive applicant packages and supporting documentation.
• Preparing applicant status reporting and workforce information.
• Supporting development of executive staffing deliverables.
• Coordinating with executive leadership and recruiting stakeholders.
• Ensuring personnel documentation is accurate and complete.
• Assisting with executive human resources management initiatives.
• Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

Required Education and Training:

• Bachelor's degree OR eight years of experience in related area of the position.

Minimum Experience and Skills Required:

• Prior HR/recruiting experience
• Expert analytical, writing, and oral communication skills
• Ability to obtain the client's Public Trust clearance
• A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
• Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
• Ability to work independently
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Motivated and have excellent customer service skills

Desired but not required qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting SES staffing and recruitment activities
• Expert knowledge of federal personnel staffing and recruitment related to SES positions
• DHS and/or CBP experience

Washington, DC Hybrid Full Time $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
