Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Valid license to be a PT
• Reliable vehicle
• Valid Driver's license and insurance
• Bachelor's Degree

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1630
• Shift days: Monday through Friday
• Hours per week: 40
• On call or weekend requirement: None
• Coverage area includes locations up to 50 miles east, west, and south, and north to the Kansas border
• Mileage is reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient

Location Highlights

Ponca City, Oklahoma offers a mix of outdoor access and regional history for traveling clinicians. Lake Ponca is located within the city and offers boating, fishing, and trails, while Kaw Lake sits about 20 miles east with additional camping and waterfront recreation. The Marland Estate and the Pioneer Woman Museum are both in Ponca City, and downtown Oklahoma City is about 100 miles south for additional dining, sports, and entertainment options. The city also provides access to the Arkansas River corridor and is near the Kansas state line, which supports convenient regional travel in a quieter home health setting.
