Systems Engineer III

Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Systems Engineer III in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Salary: $110k-$180k (depending on experience) The Systems Engineer III supports the Navy by designing, engineering, and integrating enterprise IT systems and architectures across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. Essential Functions: Design and implement enterprise system architectures. Lead system integration and engineering efforts. Develop system specifications and engineering artifacts. Support RMF/ATO processes. Provide technical leadership. Other duties as assigned or required. Requirements Required: 5–7 years of experience in relevant field. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience supporting enterprise IT environments. Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD environments. Desired: Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs. Familiarity with virtualization, cloud, or enterprise systems. Relevant certifications (Security+, RHCSA, AWS, etc.). Additional Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in complex environments. Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred.
