Within Surgical Services, the Operating Room RN will contribute across the operating suite and perioperative environment supported by process excellence and close-knit teamwork. Reporting to the Perioperative/OR leadership team, the Operating Room RN will be supported by charge nurses, surgical technologists, anesthesia partners, PACU colleagues, and clinical educators. In this role, the Operating Room RN will circulate and, as trained, scrub across specialties, champion time-outs and aseptic technique, verify consents, coordinate equipment and room turnover, safeguard specimens, document in the EMR, and communicate with patients and families.
