As a Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in Murrells Inlet, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, report security-related concerns, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in accordance with site policies.
• Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, visitor questions, and general presence while following post orders and healthcare location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Possess an armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
