Overview Base pay range: $45.57/hr - $46.00/hr. This range is provided by TALENT Software Services. Base pay range $45.57/hr - $46.00/hr Job Responsibilities Administer medication and perform treatments as ordered by the physician and within the scope of your license. This includes a variety of forms such as oral, enteral, parenteral, suppository, and treatments like sterile wound cleaning, tracheostomy care, and more. Observe and report the effectiveness of medications and treatments. Ensure an adequate amount of supplies and medication are available. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Complete initial admission nursing assessments and assist with the development of care plans. Participate in shift reports and maintain clinical and administrative documentation. Engage in our Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. Schedule Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, totaling 38-48 hours per week. A detailed schedule will be provided upon hiring. Knowledge and Skills Understanding of gerontological/geriatric nursing theory and practice. Familiarity with the effects of the aging process and team nursing practices. Knowledge of pharmacology and the legal aspects of nursing practices. Strong skills in observing, reporting, and assisting in developing patient care plans. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications Ability to abide by nursing regulations and respond to medical emergencies. Capability to evaluate, analyze, and make independent decisions regarding client health problems. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships.
