Front of House Manager

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of Madmen Kitchen. A fit candidate will have a passion for the food industry, resilient leadership skills, and experience in managing front-of-house operations. Madmen Kitchen is a start-up elevated fast food restaurant that is set to open in early June. The hours of operation will be 2pm to 10:30pm (Tuesday-Thursday), 2pm to 1am (Friday and Saturday), and 12pm to 10:30pm (Sunday). Responsibilities Manage and lead the front-of-house staff: cashiers, bussers, and delivery drivers Ensure excellent customer service satisfaction Oversee orders in-person, online, by phone, and wait times Train new employees on service standards and company policies Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally Keep a clean and organized front of house environment and monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies Collaborate with the back-of-house team to maintain a seamless customer experience Experience & Qualifications Previous experience in a hospitality management role Proficiency in LINGA POS or a similar point-of-sale system Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of catering procedures and event planning Ability to train new staff members and conduct future interviews A basic background in the food industry *A Food Safety Certification of 5 years is required for this position; if you do not have this the employer will pay and provide you with one. *The application process will require a 2-interview process.
