Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician – Make-Readies & General Maintenance

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a recently renovated apartment community, along with general maintenance across our Metro East – St. Louis-area properties. This role focuses on maintaining upgraded units, completing work orders, and supporting ongoing property operations in a clean, well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities :

• Complete apartment Unit Turns/ Make-Readies from start to finish.

• Perform general repairs including minor carpentry, painting, fixture replacement, drywall, and hardware installation.

• Complete basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, disposals, supply lines).

• Perform minor electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches).

• Ensure units are fully functional, clean, and move-in ready.

• Respond to work orders and document work through digital systems.

• Maintain organized and safe maintenance areas.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience.

• Strong make-ready / unit turn experience required.

• Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.

• Trade experience in plumbing or electrical preferred.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in varied conditions.

• Comfortable using smartphones and digital reporting tools.

• Employment contingent upon successful background screening.
