Location: Panama City, FL 32405
Setting: Acute Care / Emergency Department
Job Type: Permanent / Contingent
Schedule: Nights – Rotating Weekends

Position Summary

Full-time ER RN opportunity in Panama City, FL, caring for patients ranging from minor injuries to acutely and critically ill conditions. The RN will triage, assess, treat, and prioritize multiple patients while coordinating care with physicians and other departments. 1+ year of recent acute-care ER RN experience within the last year is required. Strong ICU or PCU experience may also be considered.

Position Overview

• Triage and assess patients of all ages.
• Provide emergency nursing care for a wide range of conditions.
• Identify patient needs and establish individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment strategies.
• Manage multiple patients simultaneously.
• Prioritize care based on patient acuity.
• Provide follow-up instructions and necessary referrals.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
• Adapt quickly to changing emergency situations.

Requirements

• 1+ year of recent acute-care ER RN experience within the last year required.
• Strong ICU or PCU background may be considered.
• Active Florida RN license, multistate license, or ability to obtain Florida licensure before start.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• BLS required before employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start.
• ACLS within 90 days of start.
• PALS within 90 days of start.

Night Differential: +$4.00/hr
Weekend Differential: None
Specialty Differential: None

Sign-On Bonus

• Days: $10,000
• Nights: $15,000

Candidate Fit

ER RN with recent acute-care emergency experience and strong triage, assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills. Experienced ICU or PCU RNs with a strong clinical background may also be considered.
