URGENT HIRING: Paraprofessional / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Immediate Interviews

Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them succeed both academically and personally? We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join a high school educational team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details
Position: Paraprofessional / Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Location: Keene, NH area
Assignment Dates: August 26, 2026 – June 15, 2027
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:40 AM – 3:33 PM
Setting: High School

Student Population
Support a small group of students with IEPs within the general education population
Assist students with academic, behavioral, and daily living needs throughout the school day

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student support in classroom and school settings
• Assist with academic tasks and promote student engagement
• Support students with personal care needs, including toileting when required
• Help implement accommodations and strategies outlined in student plans
• Foster independence, social development, and positive student outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and administrators
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a student-centered approach

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, PCA, Teacher Assistant, or related role preferred
• Comfortable providing personal care and toileting assistance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, compassionate, and dependable
• Experience supporting students with disabilities is highly desired
