Senior Financial Analyst, Production & OperationsAn integral part of the Production & Operations Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst helps manage the Rockefeller Center Operations (RCO) budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Capital and Space Allocations as well as ad-hoc financial analysis.Here you can:Consolidate and report actuals, quarterly estimates, strategic and operating plans (LRP and Budget), and related variances vs budget.Coordinate monthly closes for the Finance Manager, including helping to process recurring journal entries and helping to manage the actuals vs. budget reconciliation.Perform standard and special analyses that provide insightful views into the operations and financial performance for RCO, as well as a point of contact for resolution of financial questions with operating and FP&A partners.Ownership and maintenance of Facilities space allocationsCreate ad-hoc financial reports and models to support evolving business needs.Working closely with RCO Project Management team to build capital budget plansCreating/Updating/Maintaining files to assist with budgeting & tracking of expensesLooking for opportunities to build/enhance current modelsAnswering ad hoc requests as necessaryMaintaining up to date finance process documentationPosting monthly/quarterly allocations, cross charges, & intercompany transfersHere you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field2+ years of experience in FinanceMust be proficient with MS Office Suite products – particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsKnowledge of SAP or similar application preferredWhat we'll look for:Exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills, with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate summarized and concise financial information to key stakeholders including operations, controllership, FP&A, and senior leadershipTeam Player with the ability to function in a cross functional environment and willingness to jump into projects to meet department goalsAbility to quickly grasp new concepts and problem solve independentlyExcellent organization and time management skills; ability to deliver on multiple project assignments, meet tight deadlines and be effective under pressureOutstanding interpersonal skillsContinuous improvement attitude, ability to seek out and implement best practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience in the Media or Facilities industry is a plusHybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
