Real Estate Analyst

Gator Development Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Analyst to join our Miami Lakes office. This position will support the evaluation, financing, and ongoing analysis of real estate investments across Gator’s portfolio of more than 200 properties throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial real estate or financial analysis, strong Excel and financial modeling skills, and the ability to quickly evaluate financial and property-level information. This role works closely with senior leadership and provides direct exposure to real estate transactions, financing, market analysis, and portfolio activity. Duties Prepare and maintain detailed financial models for real estate acquisitions, financing, and deal evaluation Review leases, profit and loss statements, real estate taxes, operating expenses, and other property documents to prepare accurate pro forma P&Ls Analyze property-level financial performance and identify key assumptions, risks, and opportunities Research and track comparable property sales, lease rates, market activity, and other relevant market data Evaluate new real estate opportunities and prepare supporting analysis for senior leadership Prepare loan packages, investment memos, financial summaries, and other materials related to transactions and financing Respond to information and documentation requests from banks, lenders, appraisers, and other third parties Track active loans, financing requirements, and insurance requirements Organize and maintain financial and transaction-related information for properties and active deals Assist with due diligence and other special projects as needed Work directly with senior leadership on real estate investment and financing activities Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate analysis, real estate finance, investment analysis, or a closely related role Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint Ability to analyze leases, P&ls, operating expenses, real estate taxes, and other property-level financial information Understanding of real estate valuation, cash flow, and financial concepts Strong research and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information appropriately Why Join Gator?
