Echocardiography Technologist

Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Essentia Health as a Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech). Responsibilities: Perform a variety of echocardiographic studies in the echo lab, patient care units, procedural units, or surgical settings. Provide measurement and image data to cardiologists for interpretation. Perform other cardiovascular tests as required by the Essentia Health Non‑Invasive Cardiovascular Lab. Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International. New hire technologists must be registry eligible and become registered within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire or transfer. If Technical Director: Must have Pediatric Echocardiography certification (ARDMS). East Market: Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health insurer (Not required for East Brainerd Lakes). West Market: Employees working in North Dakota performing medical imaging or radiation therapy procedures must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire/transfer.
