ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector to support NASA's Orion Program at Kennedy Space Center, Florida . In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of spacecraft hardware supporting the next generation of human space exploration.

Location: Kennedy Space Center, FL

What You'll Do

• Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly and inspection activities supporting spacecraft production, development, and prototype hardware.

• Assemble, inspect, and verify components, subassemblies, and production units to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality requirements.

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

• Utilize standard electronic assembly tools, measuring devices, and inspection equipment.

• Perform inspections of modifications, rework, repairs, and quality testing activities.

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate production and quality records.

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues and ensure mission success.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and safety.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with specialized technical training equivalent to a technical associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Three (3) or more years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, assembly, aerospace, electronics, or a related technical field .

• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
