Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist

Job duties include, but are not limited to: Greet and welcome clients and patients personally by name, answer their questions, and triage concerns. Observe signs of fear, anxiety, and stress in animal patients and offer solutions to promote a fear-free experience. Answer incoming calls, emails, and text messages with solutions to client's questions and concerns about their pet(s). Recognize and triage medical concerns so urgent needs are addressed in a timely manner. Offer clients compassionate emotional support during times of need; must be comfortable with various medical outcomes. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. We're looking for: A minimum 1 year of veterinary industry experience required Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker, and strong communicator Highly organized and possesses computer skills Excellent reading/comprehension/legible writing skills Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
