Baptist Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join our growing inpatient rehabilitation team in Madison, Mississippi. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality rehabilitative care and interested in a clear pathway to leadership.

As part of our long-term succession planning strategy, the incoming physician will have the opportunity to work closely with hospital leadership and our current medical staff, with the potential to transition into the Medical Director role in the coming years.

Position Highlights

• Inpatient rehabilitation physician role

• Manage a diverse patient population including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic, neurological, and medically complex rehabilitation cases

• Lead and collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team

• Participate in quality initiatives, program development, and physician leadership activities

• Opportunity to gradually assume leadership responsibilities in preparation for future Medical Director succession

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

• Eligible for Mississippi medical licensure

• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and interdisciplinary teamwork

• Interest in physician leadership and program growth preferred
