Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various surgical procedures requiring knowledge of Ortho, general, gynecology, and podiatry.
• Ensure readiness and availability of the operating room, including equipment and supplies.
• Provide patient care during operative and perioperative procedures with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Participate in on-call rotations, approximately 1-2 weekdays and 1-2 weekends per month.
• Implement infection control practices and ensure safety procedures are followed within the operating room.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting using the Epic system and adhere to universal protocols.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of New Mexico or compact state license.
• At least 1 year of experience in an operating room or related surgical setting.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
• Proficiency in Epic or equivalent charting system.
• Demonstrated ability to manage surgical instruments and support various surgical procedures.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
