Business Analyst For Crop InsuranceKey Responsibilities:Gather and document requirements for crop insurance products and claims workflows.Collaborate with stakeholders including farmers, insurers, regulators, and IT teams.Analyze yield data, weather models, and actuarial inputs to support product design.Ensure compliance with USDA RMA (U.S.) or IRDAI/PMFBY (India) regulations.Support implementation of policy administration systems and GIS mapping tools.Prepare functional specifications, test cases, and training materials.Desired Skills:Strong domain knowledge in crop insurance and agricultural finance.Experience with insurance policy systems, claims processing, and compliance reporting.Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI platforms).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Prior exposure to RCIS, PMFBY, or private agri-insurance projects preferred.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture, or related field.3–5 years of BA experience in insurance or financial services.Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
