ROLE SUMMARY

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and enhance a complex enterprise network environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining network availability, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure connectivity across WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of critical networking systems and services. This role requires a hands on professional who can quickly resolve issues, support infrastructure projects, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver highly available and scalable network solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the day to day availability and uptime of enterprise network infrastructure and fault tolerant systems Monitor, configure, and support network monitoring tools including Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, Syslog, and Scrutinizer Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving switches, routers, wireless networks, cabling, and infrastructure components Administer and support Cisco SD WAN, WAN acceleration appliances, and enterprise WAN technologies Manage and troubleshoot wireless environments including Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Access Points Deploy, configure, and support VPN solutions, firewalls, and network access control technologies using Cisco and Fortinet platforms Configure and maintain load balancing solutions including F5 and Citrix NetScaler environments Support and maintain Cisco ISE, Meraki devices, Cisco Catalyst switches, printers, and other network connected equipment Design, implement, and support enterprise WAN, LAN, and WLAN environments across multiple locations Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and network designs using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio

KEY REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise WAN and LAN network environments Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data network infrastructures Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, VLAN trunking, Spanning Tree, Port Channel, HSRP or VRRP, and DHCP Hands on experience with Cisco SD WAN, Cisco Catalyst switches, wireless networking, VPNs, firewalls, and network security technologies Experience supporting multi vendor environments including Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Riverbed, F5, and related networking platforms Experience configuring and supporting firewall technologies and software VPN tunnels Understanding of MPLS, SD WAN, Azure, and AWS networking concepts is preferred CCNA certification preferred Ability to travel up to 50% and provide onsite support as needed Comfortable working at heights when supporting network installations and infrastructure Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Demonstrated sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering results #J-18808-Ljbffr The Intersect Group
