Maintenance Technician (Temporary) - Junipine (Sedona, AZ)
We are seeking a full-time (Temporary) Maintenance Technician to work with our team to maintain our beautiful community in Sedona, AZ. We’re offering competitive wages and benefits for full-time employees. Overall, maintenance experience is necessary.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required.
- Great customer service skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a residential community (Preferred).
- Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and response to after-hours emergency calls.
- HVAC and Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred).
Job Duties:
- Daily property inspections & reporting of any/all service issues to the supervisor.
- Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and building - Vendor scheduling and monitoring.
- Maintenance of common areas, maintaining the Work Order database.
- Keep property/flower beds/parking areas/common areas free of all debris and trash.
- Perform minor repairs, touch-up painting, and minor irrigation repairs.
- Identify and report any safety issues to management.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Position involves standing and movement throughout the day. Must be able to transport oneself around the property.
- Position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and proper lighting to and outdoors setting with variable climate and lighting.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads utilizing safe work methods.
- Able to lift 75 pounds or more.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year maintenance experience.
Selected candidate(s) are subject to background and drug screening.
All Maintenance personnel are required a general physical ensuring the healthy ability to lift 50 lbs. This is arranged by our offices at no out-of-pocket cost.
Candidates may also be required to consent to a Motor Vehicle Report.
