12hrs. +Rotating Weekends

Full-Time Day.

PRN/Per Diem

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Aspire Senior Living Platte City, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care to our residents. Your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties will include:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitoring and documenting resident vital signs and medical conditions
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing emotional support and companionship to our residents
• Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to our residents in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of geriatric care principles and practices
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and caregivers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve resident outcomes
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and facility policies

Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing or related field setting preferred
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
