Position OverviewThe Banquet Server works banquet functions as needed, including set-up, tear down, serve, clean, and bartend as needed. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 years of banquet experience. Possess excellent communication skills, pleasant personality, and ability to deal with a wide variety of peopleKey ResponsibilitiesComplete room set up. Make sure all guest tables, buffet tables, and equipment are set up correctly. Ensure all requests and needs are met, referencing BEOs.Provide guests with excellent customer service, and accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests.Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed.Prepare the room for events (set table cloths, dishes, silverware as needed).Serve guests food and drinks during events as required.Be able to answer questions related to the buffet or menu.Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.QualificationsOne year restaurant or banquet experience a plusMust have good knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, customer relations, and service standardsWell organized and detail-oriented.Ability to analyze customer needs and assist in resolving any and all customer challengesAbility to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periodsPassion for creating ridiculously personable experiencesFood Handler Certificate High work ethic and self-initiative, prompt, professional serviceSomeone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our GueAdditional DetailsDue to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees must have flexible availability and be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.The statements listed are intended to represent the key duties and level of work being performed.
