Lead Interior Designer

Tandem Talent is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Lead Interior Designer to join their New York studio. About the Role This is a senior-level design position for someone who can lead projects from concept through delivery while also contributing to business development. This person will be a key face of the studio - presenting ideas, building client relationships, and helping win new work through pitches and proposals. What You'll Do Lead design development on complex, high-profile commercial projects from concept to completion Represent the studio in client meetings and presentations Take a lead role in new business pitches, proposals, and RFP responses Mentor and guide junior designers on project teams Collaborate closely with project management and architecture teams to ensure design intent Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor What You'll Bring 12+ years of design experience, ideally within commercial interiors, workplace, or architecture Experience with workplace interiors specifically is highly valued Proven client-facing experience, with confidence presenting and pitching to win new business Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to balance creative vision with commercial and practical delivery considerations Location NewYork, NY (studio-based / hybrid - flexibility TBC) #J-18808-Ljbffr Tandem Talent Ltd
