The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated, organized, competent, and professional individual who manages planning, scheduling and cost monitoring for projects such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment plants, emergency work, maintenance, and service work. The Project Manager plans, directs and coordinates project activities to ensure project goals are achieved within time and budget. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of the water and wastewater industry, familiarity with reading blueprints and specifications, and overall building construction. Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience 100% Company‑paid Health Benefits 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan Tuition reimbursement programs for qualifying employees Additional training programs including on‑the‑job, online H&K Academy, manufacturer‑offered training, and more Responsibilities Perform all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies Comprehend and disseminate contract documents including plans, specifications, and agreements Effectively communicate with project engineers and prepare schedule updates, monitor construction progress, and ensure materials are ordered and delivered for field personnel Attend progress meetings, prepare change orders and RFIs, process vendor and supplier invoices and purchase orders, and prepare monthly billings and project submittals while monitoring costs Maintain the project schedule to ensure timely and budgeted delivery Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college or university OR one year of related experience and training (equivalent combinations may be considered) Ability to read blueprints and job‑related documents Ability to utilize accounting and scheduling software for project management Strong knowledge of the water and wastewater industry Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to interpret and apply contract documents, including plans and specifications Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Driver's license and clean driving record Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant) Preferred Qualifications 2 years of relevant experience and/or training Physical Demands Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel Regular talking and hearing Vision required for close, distance, color, focus adjustment Work Environment Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions Noise level usually moderate Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week EEO Statement H&K Group, Inc. does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veterans' status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
