Come join our team! The Goddard School of Stamford is a preschool that opened in May 2023. We are seeking fun, experienced and qualified Toddler teachers who are dependable, highly motivated and meet Connecticut's Early Childhood Teacher requirements. Responsibilities Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing and multi-cultural learning environment Design and implement age appropriate play based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum Effectively use positive discipline to manage the classroom Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self-esteem and social skills Prepare a daily activity report for each child Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Qualifications A High School Diploma is required Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development preferred A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday pay Health, vision and dental insurance for full-time employees Professional development assistance Tuition Reimbursement for qualifying employees Tuition discounts for employee’s children Retirement plan with employer match Schedule The Goddard School of Stamford is open year-round Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm (9 hour shift with 1 hour break) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Stamford, CT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Teaching: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person Each Goddard School location is privately owned and operated by Goddard Franchisor LLC franchisees.
