Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >110 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Shannon Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: - Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population. - Mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric patients; permanent staff available for support as needed.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36/48 hour alternating schedule. - Every other weekend.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
