Dental Assistant — Midwest City, OK A dental practice is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. The role involves chairside assistance, patient preparation, radiography, infection control, treatment documentation, and assisting with a variety of dental procedures and specialties. Key Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during a variety of orthodontic procedures Prepare and set up treatment rooms and equipment Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment Assist with brackets, bands, wires, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances Take dental impressions, digital scans, radiographs, and orthodontic records as directed Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control procedures Provide patients with instructions regarding oral hygiene, braces, aligners, and appliance care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Coordinate and track orthodontic lab cases and appliances Support efficient patient flow and clinical operations Communicate effectively with patients, orthodontists, and other team members Maintain a positive and professional patient experience Qualifications High school diploma or GED Completion of a Dental Assisting program or at least 1 year of Dental Assistant experience Current Dental Assisting Permit Current CPR certification Current X-ray certification required for chairside duties Knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and sterilization Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively in a clinical environment Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance if required for business-related driving Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Incentive eligibility Opportunities for professional development Continuing education opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for career growth Training and development resources Equal Opportunity Employer This dental organization is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
