We are looking for a skilled and personable Medical Assistant/Registration professional to join our team. Job Summary The Medical Assistant/Registration role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities to support efficient patient care. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, assisting with both medical procedures and front-desk operations. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties: * Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other relevant information. * Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments. * Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and other diagnostic tasks. * Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed. * Ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked. Registration/Administrative Duties: * Greet and check in patients, verifying insurance and personal information. * Collect co-pays and explain billing procedures. * Schedule appointments and handle follow-up communications. * Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. * Answer phones and address patient inquiries professionally. Qualifications * Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred. * Experience: 1+ year of experience in a medical or urgent care setting is preferred. * Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail. * Familiarity with EMR systems and basic computer skills required. * Current BLS, CPR and X-ray certification are a plus. * Spanish speaking is a plus. * Current BLS/CPR certification is a plus.
