Job Description

American Traveler seeks an Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist with at least one year of specialty experience for a hospital-based day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting in an acute care unit
• Day shift schedule working four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Care is focused in the main hospital; floating to affiliates is not expected unless agreed upon
• No specific charting or EMR experience is required
• Work alongside a dedicated team of therapy professionals
• Return staff must have a 1-year gap before reapplying
• Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start date

Requirements

• Current SLP license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care or relevant specialty
• References required for consideration
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
• Background checks and licensing issues are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
