We are looking for a Therapist Qualified Mental Health Professional who exemplifies that mission and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference. Schedule Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM and one later evening. Option to work four 10‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Provide counseling, skills training, and case management services to a caseload of clients diagnosed with persistent mental illness. Deliver services in family and individual treatment settings with both adults and children/adolescents, onsite, in community, or client home. Collaborate with a team of service providers within the agency and across the social service community to ensure all client needs are met. Attend scheduled work hours, including evening hours. Provide effective individual and group counseling. Complete clinical assessments that meet program funders and administrative rules. Provide case management services as medically necessary. Complete required documentation (IM+CANS, encounters, consents) on a timely basis. Meet minimum service provision/productivity requirements set by the Director. Acquire and maintain required certifications and trainings. Maintain client files according to agency policy. Maintain professional judgment and performance regardless of personal issues. Abide by AID’s Code of Ethics, policies and procedure. Schedule and conduct treatment planning meetings as necessary. Obtain input from consumers and stakeholders on how to improve service provision. Provide outcome evaluation data to supervisor. Maintain a positive professional working relationship with agencies, stakeholders, and coworkers. Assist clients in obtaining and maintaining public entitlements as necessary. Participate in agency committees as assigned. Participate in clinical supervision at least once per month. Provide outreach services to clients who are unable or unwilling to engage in office‑based services. Qualifications Education: Master’s degree in a human services field (required). License/certifications: Preferred license (LPC or LSW); other certifications acceptable. Experience: At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health (preferred). Physical: Ability to navigate stairs on a regular basis and tolerate unkempt home conditions. Equipment: Computer with Windows applications, copy machine, telephone with voicemail system. Additional Requirements Flexibility to work evening hours. Use of personal automobile. Maintain automobile liability insurance as defined by AID’s personnel policies. Maintain a valid Illinois driver’s license. Maintain driving record standards defined by AID’s insurance carrier.
